Apulia

Picture-perfect south

The Italian coastline: ideal for anyone who wants to get away from it all for a while. There are two seas to choose from here (the Ionian and the Adriatic). Sunshine galore, and a landscape that is just as unspoilt as its ancient cultural monuments are awe-inspiring.

Baltic Sea

This mini-ocean is a well-rounded affair!

In the middle of it lie beautiful islands such as Rügen, Gotland and Bornholm. All around it, you will find the marvellous coastal cycle paths of Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Poland and the Baltics as well as Sweden and Denmark. This region feels international and promises a great voyage!

Chiemgau

Royal cycling in white and blue

East Frisia

Between dikes and dunes

Away from the hustle and bustle, East Frisia is a wonderful place to experience rural and maritime life. Preferably in peace and quiet with a cup of Frisian tea, or during a bracing cycle ride with sweeping views across the Wadden Sea.

Franconia

Time to get out and about on your bike

The classic song of Franconia goes ‘I want to ride to the land of the Franks at the most beautiful time of summer’ - what a great idea! This region’s marvellous river and vineyard landscapes will make you want to sing as you pedal.

Friuli

Italy's sweet spot for the finest cycling enjoyment

Friuli-Venezia Giulia is the full name of this region in Italian, and it is as beautiful as it sounds. The azure blue of the Adriatic Sea near Grado, the magnificent vineyards of Collio and the wide valley of the Isonzo River make for a magnificent cycling panorama.

IJsselmeer

More than just a lake!

So much water that you might even think you've reached the sea! But the IJsselmeer is actually a man-made lake and, as you would expect in Holland, it is surrounded on (almost) all sides by cycle paths.

Istria

The second heart of Croatia

What would Croatia be without Istria? Still a wonderful cycling destination, no doubt! But it wouldn't be complete without this heart-shaped piece of land jutting out into the Adriatic. It would be missing a whole series of wonderful coastal roads, karst hills and pretty seaside resorts.

Lake Constance

Enchanting, moving & inspiring

Lake Constance is the place to be if you want a cycling holiday with an Alpine backdrop and plenty of opportunities for a quick dip to cool off. The only difficulty may be keeping your eyes on the shore as you dreamily roll along.

Loire Valley

Majorca

Island paradise for cyclists

Majorca is a dream destination and a great choice for a cycling tour at any time of the year – and so close! There’s a reason that the pretty Balearic Island is on everyone's lips. Mediterranean Sea

Münsterland

Grab your bike and hit the trails!

Münsterland may not be the geographical centre of Westphalia, but it is its heart and soul (at least from a cycling perspective). A vast landscape, dotted with impressive castles, moated palaces, manor houses - and countless cycle paths.

Salzburger Land

Sardinia
